As for friendly fire..... it's no one "fault", that's the point it's an accident. It's easy to make the US look bad, but if you have the most lethal ordnance/frontline troops/bombers then you will have more accidents, just statistics. Lots of troops in a "hostile" environment, made worse by the fact that they are expecting attacks from the enemy and they just didn't come. There'd have been less casualties if the Iraqis had stormed the allies..... then everyone would know where to shoot. (ever been to a rec day in woodland..... how often do you check armbands? rarely: you know who's who 'cos of the direction they are facing).

OK, the Iraq thing is winding up. So can we concentrate on the France debate?

France may be invaded by a coalition force, there could be thousands of French casualties and it will all be covered by live news broadcast. We need to address the serious humanitarian issues this brings up........... do we watch it at my house or should I come over to yours?

Big problem mate, most of the posters on this site are in the UK, we never really got the heeby jeebies about Communism..... just a bit of history to us. Not a "bogey man" term to cover all of the worlds evil. Be interesting to know how much you even understand about the term. It gets thrown around a lot, they get blamed for everything but crop circles (we all know that's the French).

Oh, and before you call me a communist, I'm not. It's just that the term only refers to political views... but when it's used it carry's all of the connotations of the early russian exponents. On paper, communism is "for the people" unfortunately, once implemented it gets abused and twisted. Korea isn't communist, it's just plain nasty. Iraq had a "democracy" on paper..... you don't use democrat as a term for evil do you?

If you're republican you sure as heck do. Of course I'm neither seeing as how there really isn't all that much difference when you really boil them down. I vote for the craziest *******s on the ticket. That way it will be entertaining as well as frustrating instead of just plain frustrating.
