Call me mad and crazy, but whatever position you put the marker, either forward or close. You still have a better wrist position with the 90 frame.
The 45 frame is an ideal frame for an out stretched arm (go on try it in front of a mirror). Then try a 45 frame and a 90 frame with your elbow cocked and the gun closer.
