Personally - 45 for the newer style of ball where you keep your gun up more and in front of, but away from your face. 90's force my elbow to drop too far bringing the gun closer to my face, and don't naturally allow me to "lean in" to the gun when I'm standing.

To illustrate (ish) my point about it dropping your elbow on a 90.

Compare these two

and

It's just 2 I came across in the action pics thread

The top one just looks more natural to me...

my ideal frame? the angle of the old Angel LCD frame with the comfort of the new Dye Ultralights, they are soo nice...

i like either. I didnt find the 90 that bad at all. I thought it help me tuck in abit more cus of the angle of my wrist. Then again we all differ.

and keep the suggestions coming ur ideal degree of frame
well...

it really depends on what your playing...

a 45 frame feels more natural.. and doesnt expose your elbows as much...

a 90 and a stubby tank however can be usefull if you want your Gat tucked neatly into you....

personally, i prefer 45's

Mikey601, to me there's an 'it ain't broke, don't try to fix it' thing going on here - the 45 frame from Colt 45s seems to be ideal to me

Interestingly, my understanding is that WDP developed the 90 deg frame in consultation with orthapaedic surgeons based on how people played paintball. Problem is, the game has changed hugely since then, with running and gunning a much more important part of it. Maybe they'd like to repeat the exercise with modern tourney players?

What they actually decided was, of course, that players are remarkably conservative and would rather stick with the devil they know - hence they started offering rifles with the 45 frame as well as the 90
