but the thing is though pinky the marshal was holding my player down as well so surly if the marshall is to touch the player they should call him a nutral player as he is being interfired by the marshall and he couldnt get his gun up ready for any muggers.

From myself and the Zone boys , not sexist just no females on the team yet! i would like to thank everybody who we had to play yesterday every game was very very hard. Congratulations to wolf for taking 1st place in div 2 though what a close final call on points for all teams.

To Dave , jiggy, and liz team team send there thanks for what you have set out to do and give us southern teams somewhere to put our skills to the test and for teams to meet up and compete against each other. Fields were much much better this time around , And Dave keep up the great work but please do not burn yourself out.

To all the marshalls as I have said before this is one job not many people want to do and what you guys do it should be rewarded so much more. Many thanks for putting up with all of us players yesterday .

Next thing as Captain for the day i spoke to the mugger after the game and he told me (and he's never lied in 5 years of playing on the team that i know of) that he was going on a run through saw the player shot at him and then carried on running through. I can't comment on the neutral or not thing. However having just got back from Germany in millennium ball they never call you neutral. Basically if your hit in a non self check zone you have to request a hit check. If the marshall is there and checking you he should say you can keep playing while he looks. If the hits in a self check zone and you keep playing your 1 for 1'd.

Anyway i'd like to thank the teams we played. Also a team apology to the geezer with the big hickey on his neck. It wasn't intentional but damn does that look nasty. Hope it heals soon.

ok fair enough if he was running down the tape and going for the mug but not even a sorry was said.

every time i been mugged the player would be honest and come up to me and say sorry and we always have a laugh about it but this aint on where a sorry wasnt even said.

Ratty sorry to be harsh mate - but take your hits, you knew you may get shot before you started. He didn't mean to shoot you in the neck but you got shot in the neck - looks like a cracker, but it aint the worst I've seen.

sorry dude but it wasnt me who took the hit is was a new player on the team who only played 2 tornys.

and i do take my hit and always have a laugh with the mugger after the game as well as i only go there for fun not argue with players.

Dude why worry, the victim doesnt seem to give a rats arse (like wot i did there , nevermind ). **** happens, maybe he didnt even know he shot him in the neck. Besides, personally the guys lucky he didnt get drilled into the neck all together. Now that would be something to cry about

whenever i mug pinky i never appologise as its all part of the game. doesnt mean i dont love him

also the more serious player will walk onto the field very aggresive wanting the win. they dont usually talk to the opposition. then after the game if needed you say what you have to say but never appologise for a mugging.

otherwise imagine how many letters of appology the tigers would have to write
