Lets straighten a few things out here
Kitch and his lovely crew have arranged for regular monthly training days for serious tournament teams - something that is lacking in Brit ball generally. Any attempt at this should be applauded and supported.
Two or three of the available Nexus players have taken some time out to help out for this inaugural weekend and offer tips and advice for those that require it.
THIS IS NOT A NEXUS TRAINING WEEKEND.
Nexus Training Weekend's are what Robbo does, hell, the guy is THE brains behind the team - we are the guns!!! The Nexus guys that are there that weekend are going to work hard and offer what advice they can to those that need it.
Lets NOT get the two confused!!!!
Nick, Tommy Gun and I are looking forward to meeting everyone and embracing the work ethic for the day. Who's the winner????

I know a lot of people have speculated about making this a BYO event, after talking to the owners of Ambush (Jim & Christine the ones taking all the risk) they may have a solution for you all

Training Event Update!!
Hello Everyone!
This is Jim & Christine direct from Ambush Paintball.
We have been following this thread with interest.
We can confirm that we are hosting a training event at Ambush Paintball on Sunday 12th October.
We are hoping that this is the first of a series of monthly events, which will become the biggest and best in the UK - with your help and support.
The BYO issue is obviously quite a big one!!
As we don't want to restrict the training events to non-sponsored teams we have decided to alter the pricing structure slightly.
The price per player will be £20 (hang on, those of you who were already booked in and buying paint from us!). This will include a £5 voucher towards any box of paint bought from us on the day at the prices already quoted.
If you want to BYO - no problem.
We hope that helps those teams/individuals that wanted to come along and take advantage of this event but felt that their sponsorship deals were holding them back.
Thanks to Mark, Nick and Tommy from Nexus for their support, both on this forum and for the actual event.
We look forward to seeing loads of you on the 12th - please 'phone or email to let us know that you are coming. If, on the day, we feel that there are too many people, those whose names we have down will be booked in first.
