yeh i'm afraid it's site sun only, although it's available in different grades.

Overcast- not too bad, good for hangovers

Warm- comfortable to play in. reasonably priced

Scorcher- Very nice, tan inducing. sweaty knackers tho

Ok, book me in for a days worth of "Warm", although a couple of hours of "Scorcher" would be nice over lunch :)

Seriously tho, looking forward to it, should be fun :)

I think that you will be limiting the teams you will attract by preventing BYO paint. What about sponsored teams who have to shoot a brand other than Draxxus? What about Draxxus sponsored teams who get cheap/discount/free paint?

I cant see many teams attending if they are dictated as to what paitn they use as most teams have links with sponsors/distributors and get round the £40 per box tag the paint carries.

Just a thought:)

Sam I can understand the point you are making, honest I can, but you have to think that the entry cost to the event is only £15, I dont want to tell you about sucking eggs, but when you think about the costs involved to Christine at Ambush, with H Pac coming down 3 members of Nexus to pay with pies and their normal site fees to the land owner (never mind the netting!) this first event will be running at a huge loss.

I think they actually need over 200 to attend and buy a box of paint before most things are paid off. Add to this the cost of 2 new airtight fields and you can see that they are in this for the long term, trying to offer a brilliant service down south where none exists at present.

Hope I didnt come off sounding all pretentious :D

Oh and to pick up on another of your points, I think your right perhaps a word to draxxus may be in order after the first 1 is out of the way :)

thanks for you input

You didnt.:)

Maybe the owner is iver stretching herself for the first event then? It would be a great event seemingly, but the paint situation will be a stumbling point for many teams who would normally wish to attend. Say a team gets sponsored by Severe/Tomohawk/Zap/Victory/RPS etc...and get a good deal, why would they pay for fullprice paint from a different vendor. Sponsors/supporters may tell teams that they cannot go, and may threaten to withdraw sponsorship if they attend and use another brand. Admittedly this is extreme, i know, but it may happen.

For future events could the organiser not stock different brands? I guess though that she gets paint from Draxxus on a regular basis for the site.

P.S DRAXXUS--> GREAT TOP QUALITY PAINT!:D
