well when i get back into balling in a few months time, there only one marker i getting, that will be a DM6, dont see the point of the DM7 atm, prices are still stupid for the advances they have compared to the 06

in all fairness there still is. but yeah, the sl's have wiggled their way in between the two quite nicely. does this mean you wont be getting an 07? or will, but dont rate them a much higher cut on your old xsv one, or whatever else you have that hasn't appeared on here
I think the 07 ego is a totally new gun with the new board and that i think that planet out did them selves with it.
When the A1 came out people raved about the weight and the size but the sl was even lighter and they forgot to mention that.
The 07 is even lighter than the sl so to lose that much weight off it and its not just the milling.

they even set a new standard with the on and off at the bottom it is a totally new design which i think will catch on with other markers.

its popular enough to turn out model after model, year after year... surely thats a good thing.
they may look sort-of monotonous from a distance, but they're distinguishable close up, and perform much differently; and surely thats what matters: the performance. and if nobody is having problems with the design, why differ it that much?!
there are lots of people in the world that like 'same-ness' (excuse that, couldn't think of a better phrase), and there are some that like variety... lots of people in the world; a small percentage of which play paintball; a large percentage of which shoot ego's... now either its so much better than its competition, year after year (in which case, why bring out anything totally new, may as well just build on the existing design), or a lot of people just play sheep and buy because someone said they liked theirs, or they saw a good team shooting them.
