07 shocker, sorry to seem pedantic now but it was never an 07 shocker, the NXT is just an updated version of the sft with improvements to it such as comes stock with a he bolt kit, bb eyes ect, it was never really meant to be a whole new gun design, so they just put on a reg that they think does the job best that they manufacture, which happens to be the reg they first put on an ion
The 07 egos though, (the first one you have ever had in your hands, thought I should claim that) the finish is very good on them really, mine has had its fair few scrapes and dinks by now and is still yet to show a sign of wear on it. As for the reg, again if it works it works and atm planet have got a very decent reg attached to both the etek and the ego series of markers, so why change something that they cannot improve upon

hey i am not saying that there is any thing wrong with these guns, the 07 has definitely improved over the 06 i shot enough of them today. the same with the shockers.
what i am saying is the look and feel of the marker has for me dropped. the new guns seam to be mimicking the cheaper gats now the high end stuff should be as it say high end, and i am not feeling the high end from any of the latest gats

very acurate and very light and nice, but its planets flag ship gat
when the bushwackers came out there was a wow factor
i am not getting the wow from any of the new guns, and as a gun whore
nar i have to say that the 07 beats the sl's hands down.
Its just when the sl came out no one tried to make a marker that light so yes i agree it did have a wow factor but the 07 there is just more of a wow

have to agree with markie... having gone up from karnie and my upped 05 shocker, to my 07 ego, the difference is phenomenal!
maybe you truly have reached a point where youve owned just about everything out there and so can form a better opinion on them, or maybe just getting over the whore-ding () stage

ah yes i think if they had gone from 06 to 07 then yes there may have been a bit more OOOOeeerrrr
