They're going to be using nothing but yellow, which is why the equipment is removed - so the refs can spot yellow hits easier.

Twizz, yellow paint isn't going anywhere. Yellow paint will be the ONLY fill allowed in the PSP and as a consequence yellow on gear etc. will be restricted as per the rule that will hopefully be public this weekend sometime.

I think Twizz's concerns are more for kit than paint

as a lot of Teams have something yellow like a sponsors name or Logo!!!!!!!!!!

Being cynical for a second... How will this affect the price of tournament paint? Any change? Will the price of yellow paint go up as teams are forced to use one colour? Or will it go down as fewer other colours start to be produced and more and more yellow is pumped through the factories... or will there be no change as the tourney market represents such a small slice of the global paint supply?

Anyone know offhand what the current orange percentage ruling is?

The brighter the color of the paint, the more Titanium Dioxide it contains. Titanium Dioxide, by its very nature, will stain.

Staining colors on order of staininess would be:

Blue
Pink
Orange
Green
Yellow
White

White is hard to see break, so yellow is the most environmentally friendly color to use.

Joy can go to orange/black I guess.
