I'll stick my neck out and say that you should be OK with an Amber or Yellow lens.

Hopefully, the official rule will deal with lens colours.

Though what Joy & XSV will do about their uniforms is another matter...........that is, if they're playing the PSP this season.

EDIT: Lane also appears to be referring to pink and orange paint in his quote. We'll see what the official rule states.

Well hopefully Lane will post up on here giving a reason why yellow is banned, as a lot of Teams have something yellow like a sponsors name or Logo!!!!!!!!!!

It was noticeable on at World Cup that the paint supplied on site was all yellow fill, iirc this was the 'tester' for the clean up. Pink paint has been illegal in PSP (and many other leagues) for some time.

This rule is being made for all the right reasons, if you ruin a venue in the course of an event you won't be welcome back, just as if you spend a ton of money on clean up manpower and/or chemicals it will effect your efficiency and operating costs, things that will get passed on to the teams/players.

I see no reason why, if yellow is the only permitted fill colour, the rules on other 'protected' colours, i.e. orange, cannot be relaxed.

For sure, some teams will need to review their strips/logos and players their personal equipment and there will be the odd 'discussion' with referees over items in the coming months, but most will see the change as being for the good.

As for whether this is adopted by other leagues we shall have to wait and see, though I could see the sale of yellow equipment generally declining in anticipation.

Has anybody seen a response from Bshort on this?
