Hi ,can anyone give me some information on the distance and accuracy that can be done with an entry level marker also what are the differences between woodsball,subair and speedball.

Getting an air system helps with accuracy.

Phil, the cheapest marker you can buy, will fire just as far as the most expensive, and will be just as accurate .....
If you have the right paint for the right barrel you can get more consistent shots, but otherwise what Robbo said is true.
Gold, what you say about paint is absolutely correct mate and I shoulda said the same, but as for the barrel?
Well, if Mark Toye (or anybody who was at that seminar at Ancaster a few years back) is reading this, I think he might wish to comment upon barrels having an effect on accuracy .....
I'll come back to this if he (or someone else who was there) hasn't commented ....
Thanks for all your replies much appreciated....would i be able to purchase a selection of different paintballs in trial size packs to see which would be more suited for any particular marker?
I doubt it but whenever you get some paint, try it. Put one in one end of the barrel, and blow through it. If it rolls out without blowing, the paint is too small, if when you blow it doesn't go through, the paint is too big. But, if when you put the paint in it maybe rolls for a bit, stops somewhere and then you blow it and it comes out easily, then you've got the perfect paint.
Just note down what paint it is and the rough temperature and so you will know whether or not to buy that paint again.
