I remember seeing a thread on pbnationa bout someone who put a spring in his dm8 he managed to notch the dwell two notches without any side effects. Reckon this is what they are doing?

rumor whores and conspiracy lovers look no further.

Hmm I dont see any new technology really.
New to dye maybe but not new to the industry.

They have reduced the mass of the bolt down to that of a Hollowpoint Ion/Geo. Dropping the traditional matrix design for an Ion style design.
Which will really reduce kick.

The internal piston is remeniscent of the one you get with the Orange Ion bolt.

Its basicly a DM9 with ion upgrades :D

I've always thought that the hollowpoint bares more resemblance to the operating system of a FEP Quest than a traditional Ion bolt kit
(despite being an ion upgrade)

Yeah they are pretty similar.
Id say the quest is a step inbetween the shocker and the hollowpoint ion.

The quest, like the shocker doesnt pop off the valve guide it just moves an apeture to either fill or empty the bolt chamber.

Where as the hollowpoint, while configured like a quest bolt gets its simplicity from the ion design.
The seal is just done from the inside rather than the outside. Apart from that it works like every other 'tailless' ion bolt.

Many other ion upgrade bolts perform very similar to the Hollowpoint.
And the Orange one has a floating piston like the NT.

But my favorite is still the hollowpoint which I bought of you I think:confused:

Cheers buddy but I am, it was sarcasm as I sent him that link last night ;)
funnily enough i was asleep when you sent me that and actually checked facebook this morning instead of msn. thats right. thats how sad I am. I check my facebook before i go to work.

and who's awake at 2am?!

but i do bow down and admit that you did, infact, find this before me. Congrats Jack - major internet points to you! ;)

Tbh (and just to keep this thread on track) I think it looks absolutely horrible. the rubber grips at the front of the trigger frame do nothing for me. I also think that it just strongly resembles an SLG. which are ugly.
