Personally I'm a massive DM fan but I like to look after my markers,..

As Mr C says ,it's a compliment ..currently we are going through a Bob Long 'sheep' phase, it wont last as long ..testament to planet and a very solid product.

It's not the gun - it's the shooter!

Just for the record, I'm and Angel/WDP fan - but I do like the Ego. It's all down to personal preference of course.

Now im not bashing on egos here, they are nice guns, but people seem to think they are better than they really are. the only thing that sets the ego apart from anything else is ease of maintenance and reliabilty, however if you spend 10 mins re lubing your dm after playing and dont just sit on your arse and let it fester at the bottom of your kitbag, it will be just as reliable, and shoot alot nicer.

But when many people start off in paintball usually with guns that have none of these attributes, they become the two most important things you look for.

turn up, get it out the box, and shoot faces = EGO :)

Oh with the reassuring rattle of an AK47 ;)

See all you guys needed to do was band together and work out some legitemate arguments.

*Its a bit louder than some guns.
Although comparing it to an AK is a bit over the top.
And a heavily ported barrel does wonders for your sound signature.

*If your not careful you can screw the grip screws in wrong. I thought that was only on aftermarket grips but i dont own an ego, not my cup of tea, also nobody I know is daft enough to do that so I couldnt confirm.
I think its worth pointing out when it comes to any paintball gun if your not careful bad things tend to happen.

*Something about the recoil which I cant argue with as I have a bit of a low recoil fetish myself.
One reason why my next marker purchase will be an airstar nova 700.

Already theres 3 arguments that hold more water than sheeeeeep.

We could spend the same effort picking holes in other companies markers.
Digging some skeletons out of other manufacturers closets with their chinese/mexican cost cutting, corner cutting, hype is a whole lot easier.
And fun.

But Ill leave it up to the fanboys with a vested interest to start the threads.

DMs are better than PMs, much better until the pm8 was released.
Care to post your reasoning or does the green writing make it instafact?
Bearing in mind you can buy a UL frame even for the PM5.
