sorry mate, i think its you that's missing the point. your the one making all the reason why not to play it.

best event this year DOH get it yet

if i need to do it more simply this could be British Hunttington Beach in a few year
I'm not offering reasons not to play it, i'm stating reasons why people probably haven't signed up!

This is not a case of what team is the best, the whole point of the balls out events is to promote paintball and attempt to give ourselves a better future by putting it out there to the public as to attract new players or even out side sponsorship...
Everyone on here harps on about the future of UK paintball, but still dont really do anything about it.
The whole point to this thread is that balls out dump loads of money into these events for all of the UK players, but get it thrown back in their faces...

hmmmmm

i think edwards has got this spot on, there can be no argument about this what so ever.

to put it simply this IS the biggest 'promotional' showcase ever in the uk, we are going to be showing 'our' sport to more people in 1 weekend than has ever been known before! personally i dont see how there can even be a discussion about it??

if personally you are passionate about the sport and you want it to get the credability and awareness that it deserves you SHOULD be begging balls out for the opportunity and the chance to play at this tournament. wether its in between other tourneys or not, half of my team can barely afford to play 1 tourney a month but they are begging, stealing and borrowing for the chance to be a part of this! (sorry guys):D

myself and my team know we dont stand a chance of winning, but we go to it because we are passionate about it and for the greater good, i would gladly travel 300 miles and spend 150 quid on the weekend and not win a point if it contributes to public awareness, and just to be a part of the movement.

Mark and Rich are bending over backwards to make this work and deserve a lot more respect for it, and to hear that teams are turning it down or refusing the chance to be a part of it seems like a a bit of an insult!

i dont think there is anything else i can say that edwards or lump hasnt already said, so i'll end my rant on a high!

BRING ON THE BEER' STRIPPERS AND BALLIN'!!!!:D:D:D

reading this thread highlights the reason why britball is in the crap.too many teams without the commitment,as people have said if i was a sponser i,d be asking why not all the teams i sponser aren,t playing:( think about it guys your sponsers pay thousands a year for you to represent them and when you can give them the best advertising of there products going what do britballers do,what were good at moan that it costs too much and could we have a discount:eek:in other words we want it for nowt

Biscuit,

Bit of wild statement this, teams do commit to what they decide what they want to do though out the yr . i dont doubt that your comment was not intened to sound as bad as it does . ;)

Guys dont turn this thread into a slanging match , about whats best whos best , this is completely counter productive and does not help anyone .

:)
