Thanks for the support guys, it does mean alot. When we put on these events (west mids and this one) we only had a handful of dates so there wasn't alot of choice of when to host them so we apreciate the fixture pile up problems.
We knew that not every team would play it, many teams already had comitments to the various leagues in the UK already and we would never want to pull teams away from them. Nor did any one request that we do this, we knew what we were getting into and did this off our own back because it is what we believed was the right thing to do and would bring benefits long term to the sport/industry.
But, for years people have debated ways of trying to get the public to recognise that we are not rambo's in the woods, and we believed the best way to show people was to do these type of events in public areas where it cannot be missed. The West Mids event attracted a good amount of spectators and i know that our staff, and myself spent alot of time talking to the public. Not to mention some of the guys from the teams going round the show in their playing kit and interacting with the public made it the sucess it was by us all working together.
To all the guys and girls that are travelling form all over the country, Ireland and Scotland taking part as players and spectators i thankyou for your support for both our events, and for tournament paintball. Also to the sponsors of the events that have helped us and supported our dream we are truly thankful to you guys. I believe it will be a step in the right direction and it will be made possible by all of you that are there, and hopefully we can look back on it in the future and say i was part of that.
