Blackpool . why should they bother !!

As i said in the rest of my post previously, i said for the majority of uk teams, if you look at the teams entered they all are from the north!

Blackpool is 274.3 miles from where i live! By the time i arrange hotel rooms for the team, fuel costs, plus the paint bill its starting to get expensive!

As for being a big fish in small ponds, how often do we see the uk's "top" teams going head to head in the uk! very rarely indeed!

There are currently a lot of teams supporting the uk federation, battling for spots in the uk championships, and i guarantee that the so called wonder teams who have not even bothered to enter or support those series will only bitch that whoever wins shouldnt be crowned uk champs! How can these people not be seen to be wanting to do really well in there level of sport?!

how can the first weekend in august, in blackpool, on the promanarde be a negotive thing, you can tell you didnt see the effort of balls out at the west mids show it was eeeemmmmense. bad timing campaign is a further 7 weeks away, i guess too many people are content with there clicks and being big fish in tiny ponds and dont really care about the future of our sport or about bettering them selves as players, but just sit here on the forums and chat crap about what to do and how we should do this and that when it is here on a plate for you now, that is shown by the fact there is still places availabe for this event

I agree the millenium series is a big pond, and we as a team are planning on playing the entire series next season!

However, you are highlighting a further point of not enough support to the uk series!

Why is there not a pro uk league? As well as the option of millenium series?!
If the uk was standardized in its systems then thats how you could say who is at what level, etc
Why should we have to go across europe to be seen as worthy oponents or competition!

the uk champs will be nexus simple you tell me of a team who are better?

shock play cpl but nexus would kick there ass. disrupsion play spl and kick ass there you gotta know where you stand simple nexus = number 1 i dont need tourny to tell me that.

People are whining that not enough teams are entered! And thats what promted the debate! Its a public forum, and so far no one has got out of hand, so if we cant voice opinions whats the point!

Events such as these should be supported by everybody who is able ..... I have no doubt these guys will be federation supported before very long because they are doing things in the way UK Ball needs them to be done.

They put on a great event, they promote our sport and they are looking toward the future ......... if these guys don't get that minimum team requirement then nobody has a right to moan about anything.

There are a few people in our sport at the moment who are trying to get things back on their feet and their first thought has little to do with 'how much money they can grab'.

These guys deserve to make a success of this event if only to give us all a little more hope there are enough ballers out there who actually care.

shrewsbury was 370 from us and yet we stll made it and played . and at the minute blackpool is looking hard but so what we will try and play it even f we play with 6 ... so essx that from here looks lke a pretty p!$$ poor excuss
