Either way ckotw wins, the forum is +1 minute, so you had a minute to bid. blackcougar said it would end at minute and it was 1 minute to midnight and no one else bided, therefor cwkotw wins. Well done

forum time All times are GMT +1. The time now is 12:00 AM.
personally i think lump should make a ruling on this.
in my opinion the bid of 640 was a late bid as it was after the aucction had ended.
if it is not a late bid, it should have been made clearer, when the last bid could be made.
no hard feelings if i am alone in this opinion but i would like a moderator to close this issue.
Personally, I think Lump considered the times and has already made a ruling.
Sorry Blackplasma,

this is exactly why i will never run an auction on here, if this was on ebay then cwkotw's final bid would have been too late. the auction ends at midnight, which is 12:00:00 (correct me if that is wrong) so if the clock on your post says 12:00, it is past 12:00:00
which is late!!

no it wouldnt of been, it was 11.59 when he posted but the forum clocks it at 12.00 because its a one minute added foward , so his bid was valid, but if was clocked at 12.01 his bid would not be valid so to speak

Think it's so funny people discussing the validity of bids, after decisions been made
People not understanding that GMT +1 = BST
Obviously never set dates on your pc or gaming machine :D
Point to note
Ebay is timed to the nearest second and as an auction site is geared up to close bids exactly on time
This site is timed in minute intervals and is not an auction site.
So if an auction ends at 12:00 as in this case then 12:00 is an included time
If the auction said you had to bid before 12:00 then last bid accepted would be 11:59
These are the rules we work to - Simple to follow & simple to enforce
