I think mario is right, to be honest not many 'professional' sports would employ untested safety equiptment would they.
I still think however had they have just lashed down the inflatable part with strong rope (attach them to 4 wheel drives or something) and just made a quick frame out of scaffold (would have took about 2 hours to set up and very easily accessible with a simple phone call) then it would have all turned out well. You would think for the price you play there would have been some kind of plan should (like it did) the worst happen.
