yeah but you might get some componsation

it does seem an extremely long time

try sending an email to trading standards or someone and see what they say about it
Unfortunately there is not a lot you can do about complaining and reporting to trading standards. This is PayPals method of responding to money laundering laws.

A lesson to be learned by us all.

i didnt mean complain but more ask for advice off them

the fact you have to wait x amount of days seems wierd when investigating fraud, how does that prove if your account has been compromised or not

Bon...this sounds dodgy as hell mate.
I have recently (last week or two) had more than two grand go through my paypal account with no problems whatsoever. I to have been a regular user of paypal for a few years aswell and the worst I got was last week when I got a email saying that my account was over the paypal limit and they basically washed there hands of any responsibility to pay me back the money if they went into liquidation:eek::eek::eek: (had a email saying as much).
Needless to say I have withdrawn the funds to the safety of my savings account now untill I need to use them.

I would have thought that if it was a standard/compulsary measure that they take with irregular activities or whatever then I would be a prime candidate for investigation due to the amount of transactions and funds hitting my account. As of this moment in time though....nothing:confused:

Hope it pans out well for ya fella.

I transferred about £600 from my paypal to my bank account a while ago, no problem. I think the issue here may if you've made a few large cash transactions recently.

Nothing to do with your issues whatsoever but i'd just like to point out that Paypal is actually just a regular bank not some kind of company as most people think, but here's the biggy.........
My mate took a couple of the Paypal head honcho's out to dinner to negotiate a big contract of his. Whilst dining they revealed that on average the general public has 50 BILLION pounds sitting in their collective accounts that their doing nothing with it, but paypal is earning interest on that 50 billion:eek:
Nice work if you can get it:cool:

I cannot understand why so many people have problems, have there accounts froze etc..

Must of had just under 10k worth of funds in/out of paypal past 12 to 18 months, not a single problem, although must admit, they needed bank account verification on 2 occassions.

BON, Death penalty to all those held responsible
