As from today we require all bottles for sale/trade or offered in wanted, to be in-test and have their born date stated in the post.

This applies to all bottles...air...co2...dive...firemans.

If you're unsure of the date, ask before you post.

Because some newbie might be thinking their getting a bargain knocked down price bottle that hasnt been tested, has damage to it and thus goes on to be used in an accident.

This is just responsibility, and is about time

As far as the "out of test" is concerned, it's about being fit for use. There are strict regulations regarding the testing and use of bottles, and we have to be aware of these regulations and update the forum to suit.:)

the point is that sites, training grounnds should also check all equipment to be used on site!! if its not in test, it doesnt get filled!!

i can take the point of trying to reduce accidents! fair comment, but when buying second hand this will always be an issue! if it turns up damaged, you go back to the seller!

and seeing as it needs to be tested before you get it filled or use it irt wouldnt pass the test if damaged!
