if anyone wants a look at a sup'air event in scotland you should try and speak to mark bryant (AUPaintSoc on here) from east coast NV.

he is looking at running a short series of x-ball lite events near aberdeen.

his last one was attended by NV, Clan, ICE, NX and a smattering of AU peeps.

i'd maybole to aberdeen in 3 hours (with the wife).........just under 2 and half on my own. :D

add about an hour - hour and a half for the stranraer-maybole section, dependant on what comes off the ferry in front of you........
Cheers, gives me something to work with for the time being....

Scotkart and sup air

Couple of things guys I have already started the ball rolling with this place in Cambuslang, but until it's finished my hands are tied and can't really discuss my thoughts with the owner. I'm hoping if I help him with the paintball side of things he may cut me a deal, but who knows business is business right. My thinking if the field is lying empty it's lost revenue, so even getting players to pay £10 per person and BYO paint then at least he is making something. I have also advised him to use air and NOT co2, again he is a businessman as am I to a certain extent, my expertise is in paintball and I'm hoping to use this to my advantage when we finally have a chance to talk.

I have around a dozen players waiting on this opening, once it's opened then we can see where we stand for using it for training, clinics and maybe even leagues.

I can think of a fair number of lads who would be willing to travel over fairly regularly too. Especially if there was a league running, I will pretty much guarantee you 2 or 3 teams, maybe more.

Sid, if you want me to give this guy a ring and reiterate your point (and recommend he listen to you) drop me his number. I know exactly where you are coming from, and agree 100%.
