Also, QUOTE: "Response triggers may be used provided they can fire one pull one shot". I've always know response modes as, one shot when the trigger is pulled, and then another shot when the trigger is released. Equating to two shots per trigger pull.

I think that's rebound mode, not a response trigger. From what I can gather, a reponse trigger just increases your rate of fire.

wiki:

"The system uses a series of parts that are added to the gun to greatly increase firing rate for the marker. The system uses excess carbon dioxide or compressed air from the firing process to reset the trigger and sear with a pneumatic cylinder. The cylinder can reset the trigger with only moderate pressure. When this happens, the pressure of the finger immediately pulls the trigger back again, firing another shot. If the operator utilizes the correct amount of pressure on the trigger, a "bouncing" effect occurs, resulting in fully automatic like fire for the duration of the time that the operator can maintain that amount of pressure (commonly know as the "sweet spot"). As such, its use has been restricted to single-shot operation at some commercial paintball fields while banned completely at others."

That's the point, it's a 3 shot burst for every trigger pull after that within a certain time. I've always known it strictly as one trigger pull = one shot, and that ramping is just assisted firing, rather than burst or full auto.

From the UKPSF website:

While only the courts can offer a final ruling, it seems likely that a paintball gun capable of fully automatic or burst fire would count as a prohibited weapon under Section 5(1)(a) of the Firearms Act 1968. The maximum penalty for possessing such an item is ten years imprisonment. A circuit board or chip to allow fully automatic or burst fire would be a component part of such a weapon”.

...Approximately two years ago representatives from the industry and the UKPSF had a meeting with a Firearms Officer and as a result of the meeting he was “happy” with the “turbo” mode demonstrated at the meeting. After further discussion with the Home Office this week they agree it is a “grey” area and that the only way of confirming the legality of the “turbo” mode would be in a court of law.
So I assume this means that they are "happy" with ramping modes, but not burst fire or full auto modes, or modes that use burst or full auto as part of their operation.

Anybody got the exact rules on this? Nothing really makes it clear.

Ramping is allowed there is no ROF cap. Your paints not going to last long though shooting 20bps though! So we recommend setting your markers at 10/12 bps.

We do have a huge playing area this year but we also have more players than ever:D The mission objectives should ensure some good intense fire fights for those who want that and expect some surprises throughout the game;)

A post made on this thread a few pages earlier.
