Flex 8 mask

i just bought some new frames, but now iv realised that i dont know how to change the frames :S

can anyone help??

the frames are held by small rubber tabs that go all the way round the frames and they are also at the top. You will also need to remove the strap from the frames.

Then just replace the old frames wth the new ones making sure all the small rubber tabs are in the correct place and are they are through the designated holes. If not mask becomes unsafe.

are you talking about the frames or the lens?

the mask face plate and ears are all one piece around the nose piece and the cheek area there are small like " arrow head " rubber tabs that go through the holes in the frames.

this is how they hold together.

With great difficulty.......I feel all cold inside and start to shake if I ever need to change anything on mine. Prepare for sore thumbs. I don't think anyone really knows how to, you just push and pull for half an hour, sweat a bit and feel angry, then somehow they're just back together

I suggest watching videos of other people doing it so u dont lose all faith and go "it cant be done" but this normally leads u to flaming the guy that can do it in 30seconds lol.

Its just practice, I can change them in about a minute. The key things to remember are when taking the frame off, start at the top and end at the nose. And when putting them back on, start at the nose and finish at the top.

Lol, if anyone can change a flex 8 lens in 30 seconds I'll lick their boots . Nobody better start practising this sort of thing and turn it into a a sport like cup stacking.

Thats where I've been going wrong Sumo - I've been starting upside down damn it!

i give in!
i cant get the strap off, i can get the lens out, but i can get the frame off.
ill just stick with my black frame, and sell the red ones when i have a chance. lol

top tip right there

Putting em back on is more of a pain that taking off, just have a lil' patience.
