Update after an 1hr tentatively taking my halo apart. . . .
I spoke to the supplier, who advised me to take the halo apart first and check everything. They said it would not void my warranty or anything. Very nice guy.
So i stripped the halo down, and checked the eyes, they seamed fine. At this point i was still very annoyed, because i was not going to risk stripping it down to the motor. Getting the shell off was a grueling task for me for 1 evenings work. So my next theory was, why dont i spin the motor around a bit and pull the connections in and out. Hey presto ! one of these fine pieces of mechanical/electrical engineering seemed to make the halo work. Wohoo !,
So i believe i am all up and running now guys, i will test the hopper out with some paint on Tuesday. (ccough cough, when i get my mini hopefully
) Still a bit concerned with the motor though it sounds kinda funny.
Thanks for all the help, it was very much appreciated
