brand new to paintball

hello ,im new to paintball and at the min am tring to learn the jargon ,a few mates and i are buying markers and will be down in the woods trying to replicate the games we have played at our local site,we like milsim type markers and would like to make the games as tactical as we can,,as i do not feel anywhere near ready to take it seriously yet i feel i should learn the phrases i read on here for eg,what is.

walk on = a game where you use your own kit
you've got yourself mixed up CO2 is a propellant that is used but sup air is a game played using inflatable barricades (usually tournament paintball)
e-triggers = electronic triggers (trigger with an electronic board in with different firing settings etc, most markers these days are electronic)
co2 refills = no idea sorry tbh you may want to use air its more readily available.

ok, first point, you said in the woods like at your local site?
please say you own the woods and its not the public, spring morning walking kind of woods.
cause the guys in the black jump suits with the h&k's will not be happy!!!!!

1. a walk on is a player with all their own kit.
2. co2 is carbon dioxide, its used in some marker to fire the balls.
3. sup air is a type of playing field used mainly for tournement play.
4. e triggers are electronic trigger, these help fire the marker faster.

not sure on the last one til you answer the my question!

there are bits of land that we are allowed to use ,a farmer friend of mine will let us play there ,although there are bits of woodland off the beaten track where one could play without interference ,but we will have permission to play plus our local site is v close also . thanks for the info its a good start ,ive a lot to learn ,cant see myself doing tourneys dont like the look of the high end markers ,and the motoX type getup they wear. i like the sound of these walk ons though . i will start with a tippman 98 with a few upgrades tactical barrel etc .the gas can on the back is what i meant by co2 (which i now know was wrong) so where do people get these cans filled usually ,i live in a fairly big town so will i have any problems filling them

i think you will only be able to fill up your co2 tank at your local site, providing they use co2.
but if you buy an air tank (much better) you may be able to fill it up at a local dive shop but check with the site first if they fill air.

i tryed gettin mine filled at a site near me and they refused as it is not one of there bottles so i have now gone on to air which i can get filled all over my area !

Hey, welcome to the sport, and to the forums.

sup air is a type of game. Its tournament style play on a pitch with inflatable bunkers.

The differance would be between co2 and air

u can get ur co2 tank filled up at a fire station (because they use it for there hoses), just go along and ask if they can fill it up for u, i think they'll charge u about £2.50 but im not sure. i would recomend getting a high pressure air tank (HPA) as they are safer and much easyer to refill.

also u can play paintball anywhere aslong as it is not in a public area or near a walk way or path.

i really would suggest using a properly set up, insured and maintained site.

the fact that you're asking these questions tells anyone who knows the answers that you are highly likely to either hurt yourselves or god forbid some poor rambler.

Ramblers tend to ignore everything thats good for them and i have even seen those everest prepared hero's walk straight through the middle of a game zone!

please think about this carefully!
