Just a heads up.....

Dont forget to get some form of paintball related insurance as well,if you where to accidentally hurt an innocent bystander etc... you would probably get sued in court...

i've heard about needing this insurence to play on some walkon days i think.

what is paintball insurence for and how does it work? where can i get it? what does it cover agains exactly?

if they were to get shot they would have to tresspass on my property and cross the protective net i would of put up so win theory i may be with in my rights to protect myself/property but i'm gussing its a lot more complecated than that tho.

Dont know the exact law of the land regarding being accidentally shot by paintballs but i'm sure you have to be somewhere like 300 meters from footpaths and public right of ways.Also paintballs sometimes have a tendancy of being shot accidentally over the top of netting or bouncing off objects and over netted areas etc....

If it where to happen i'm sure your solicitor would be able to tell you what the law is regarding this just before your court case

the insurence looks good i may need to get it anyway for some walk ons. does it protect against privete events on privete land tho? it would only be one or two verry close friends who know the risks and wouldnt sue. plus i can make them sign a dissclaimer or something i guess.

i can see that being the case for a bissness that has many people paying to play everyday but i'm just talking about practice and firing a few paintballs in my garden which i thoght was legal from what i can tell from reading other disscussions just i'll put nets up just to make sure non go where they arnt wanteded and i'm more free to shoot in diffrent directions and at diffrent targets. i will ask a policeman about it to make sure i'm not doing anything illigal though and i'll do all i can to make sure i wont annoy anyone.

dont forget about the animals? i read in ur post that there is a feild with horses they do not like the noise ov a paintball gun! plus dogs & cats it would probably have the same effect as nov 5, as 4 an air riffle u probably shoot 1 shoot every 15 seconds or so where as a paintball gun can shoot far more paint in that time witch equals far more noise just my 2p,s worth.

as fsr as i am aware so long as the balls don't leave your property you are not breaking any fire arms laws but the environmental health noise restrictions apply if a neighbour complains don't want an asbo do you
