In my opinion (as a father as well as a baller
) I dont think it will benefit you or your boy in anyway by taking him out the back 'n' blastin a few into him
He will have time to think about it etc and as such get nervous (Nervous = hurting more IMO)...likewise you may well feel bad about it aswell (I know I would if I shot my boy
)
I would suggest you entice him into a punter day out and 'mask' that as a good idea if thats what it takes, as opposed to trying to make him beleive that 'going out back' for a bit whilst you pop a few balls into him will give him a insight into playing ball and how it 'doesnt hurt so much'.
As Evo says, and you probably know, you tend not to notice the hits AS much when your in game as your focusing on other things.
Show him a few dvds etc, let him dry fire a gat, do whatever it takes apart from shooting him in a neutral enviroment as he will just be thinking about the pain both BEFORE and AFTER. Wherebye if its in game, he wont have a clue prior to the hits and will forget about it much easier as there will be other stuff going on until the drive home
If hes still as 'pumped' about it on the drive back home THEN think about the next step of getting him some kit.
Just my opinion.
