The most interesting question in these economically troubled times is this: Will those upgrades be able to be retrofitted to earlier DM's?

I believe the DM9 eye pipe (and trigger?) can be fitted to the 08.

i was hoping for at least an lcd display.

I may be wrong but I think there's one company that has a patent on 'on board' lcd screens which is why they can't/havn't do it.

I'm probably being a little silly as per usual but I can think of two different markers that come with LCD as stock and at least one aftermarket board with one?

I think they pay the patentholder royalties in one form or another.

Ah yes, I suppose that would make sense but why couldn't dye do something similar, unless there is a exclusivity contract of some sort.

I think thats it, I'm pretty sure that aftermarket boards don't come under that heading anyway.

I was told... maybe true/ maybe not (Dont want to drop myself in it) that WDP had the patent on this, I'm sure Chris or Jon from Lips would know more about it.

You are right Neil they do, and anyone using an LCD has to pay them buckets of cash
Hence LCD = More expensive marker.

Out of interest do you know the exact patent nige? As in is it just for a LCD screen built onto a paintball marker's board?
