how about posting up an image of the next field layout with the bunker names you use ? that way all can see them and then if they want to help you out they will have an idea on how to help

i think if all the team trainined at the same place the trust would come.

i know that the teams who train at d7s have a bit of a trust thing going.

ECI, NEXUS, SHOCK, NK i do think those team have trust with each other as they play against each other alot, and this does help at tournys. when any one of those players are on the side lines trying to help one of those teams.

I'll probably be told Im being unpatriotic, or something but am I the only one who thinks getting all the UK crowd/teams in the crowd to shout out bunkers codes is a bit unsporting and not very British ??

Sure I want our teams to win, but wouldn't it be better to help one another in the pits, lending gear, training against one another, even just patting one another on the back for a good win or consolation for a loss ?? Lots of side coaching to me just seems.......well as I said unsporting. Its supposed to be a team game, rather than a team plus crowd game.

Your not being unpatriotic you’re being stupid.... Coaching is part of the game, teams with coaches and spotters have an advantage over ones that don’t. Peoples rosters are limited meaning they often don’t have a full pit crew let alone spotters, French and German teams seem to be consolidating and helping out coaching and pitting, either we can do the same or risk playing on an uneven field.

As other people have said the issue is trust, English teams have been messed over by English counter coaching before so its not surprising people are apprehensive about setting themselves up for it again, the other issue is teams have different systems which work for them. Dont get me wrong i think its a good idea these are just some of the issues i see

I don't think Echo is being stupid, merely naive but he does touch upon the notion of sideline coaching being ultimately a negative feature of our game but that's for another thread.
In the meantime, we have to live with it.

If the ills of Brit paintball could be cured by just training together, I'd be surprised, if not amazed.

The Yanks don't all train together and yet they alll have the right ethos, the reason they help each other out (and I have seen pro games thrown to help another yank team) is because they have a completely different culture when it comes to sports.

For some reason, their national pride and loyalty spills over and across team lines negating any competitive jealousies between their teams.
This is obviously not an absolute no more than all our teams hating each other but it is a generality.

We are British by birth and by culture and we are up against a modern history of petty competitive jealousies, just look at the fans of our soccer teams if you need further proof,

UK Paintball has been a melting pot for this type culture and I would love to see UK ball pull together but it's almost like asking our national press not to build people up one week just so they can knock them down the next ...it's our culture guys.

I am ashamed to say that when I was playing pro for NWC in the early years and the Preds were in the same tourney, I would have always preferred the Yanks to beat the Preds .. shameful I know but that's how it was.

C'est la ve :(

echo - at like PSP's events there are eye's everywhere, spies, maybe even double spies, ease droppers listening in the opposing teams pits, they even have sometimes walky talky people on both sides's of the fields to find out what the other team is doin so the coach can work out which play to make, let alone all the crowds organising G calls etc ,its really mad, but they doing what ever it takes to win which is fair enough and i disagree that its "unsporting like" because its in the rules
