Its all about having something someone else desires. Everybody likes to stand out and looks the sh!t and this is something that everyone has in them, you cannot deny it. Even down to goggles. People by JT goggs to customize. It is just cheaper than a £1000 headwrap. some people might not go to that extent but some others will. Whats the difference from buying a headwrap that costs a thousand pound to a icon sl8r or something. It shoots the same as a normal sl8r and thats going to be more expensive because its 1 of however many. :)

Using your comparison the Icon sl8r would be £250 000 ...

As i've stated i've no interest in spending silly money on head gear.
However (as many are aware) I spend a fair ammount of time on PbN and in the last year or so have watch the price of treetrunk go from $300 to $700+

Sounds like a sound investment to me.

Although a risky one, as you have stated when a market is so small the bottom can fall out of it very quickly. If say they were suddernly denounced as uncool by the SoCal kids ;)

any whoo, i'm off to bed.

I don't think it's the profit that the issue, I think it's that people HAVE that much disposable income to pour into a painting that will do them no good for 10 years when people are starving elsewhere.
Thats unfair on Bono he gives his time his time

so he can then tell us the little people to give our money :p

some people might pay that :p

People pay for what they believe is a decent price. £1000 headwrap is a bit excessive imo. Remakes for the win :D

To partially quote the late George Carlin:

"In a world where we can buy cinnamon dental floss, cheese in a spray can and edible womans panties, are we really breaking our balls over saving $1000 on a sandana?"
