Cheap, reliable, cheap, easy to fix, cheap, easy to get parts for and cheap.
Go for a Z-boarder if you can or an egg 3(z-board std),the only issue I found with the y-board was when my Ego was ramping.
I personally prefer them over Halo's and most other hoppers and I've tried them all,now replaced with a Vlocity but always got an egg as a spare/lender.
For £30 you should get a z-boarder with the battery conversion(no more broken doors),£25 should get you a clean y-boarder...oh and they're cheap...:D
think that covered it oh, one thing that tiffer didn't really mention was they are pretty cheap

Very effecient when it comes to battery usage, months with the same batteries but we always use Procells..is there a better performing hopper with the same efficiency:confused:...

Mooching round the 50, with the flag
I had a z-boarded egg 2 on my Ion and later on my DM3, never had any problems with it keeping up even at 15+ bps. Did the battery mod to reduce pressure on the door. I didn't find any issues with weight or balance

Tiff has summed them up pretty well, cheap, cheerful and easy to use. They will keep up with current tourney bps limits and hold more paint than most current top-end hoppers. For the price they are hard to beat (£20-30)

Personally i think eggs are a good hopper, they feed fast enough hold enough paint and aren't as bulky as some of the other hoppers.

If you think the feedneck is too big then cut it down and smooth it of with sand paper. That's what i done with mine and it sits nice and low of my gun now :D.
