Cheers for the fast replies guys, and i will take your advice and keep my eye on the for sale threads, however at the moment i'm looking more for new equipment rather than second hand.

Any advice in regards to this would be great.

i had planned on getting a PM7 (a couple of sites had reduced them down to £240-250) but i missed out and they are all sold now.

these are the sites i would personally use if i wanted new stuff:)

pick up a pmr, uped ion, etek, 05/06 ego, mini for a start. a good condition fibrewrap bottle, can get a halo or reloader b for 50. pants and jersey are cheap as chips, for a good mask you could pay anything from 20 to 50. you could even get an ego 07 for 400ish . they are the muttz nuttz.

Alot of replies are pointing me in the direction of perhaps getting a gun second hand, however i do have several questions/Issues with this option.

1) How do you know if someone is a 'Trusted Seller'?
2) Obviously with a second hand gun you don't get the support of the shop you bought it from should something go wrong.
3) Warranty expired?

I am still leaning towards new equipment, although the savings to be had on second hand are tempting. so any advice in regards to new stuff is very welcome, and cheers again guys for being so helpful :).

My personal opinion on this (not that it means much).

A lot of posts regarding a sale, people will vouch for the seller and kit. Pictures also tell a thousand words, but as you say, can never be 100%.

With regards to warranty and after sales support, I prefer to learn the marker inside and out. Every marker I have had (both mine and my Bro's when he played) I have stripped down and learned. Making sure that I can fix this thing if there is ever an issue.

If you buy one of the better known markers you can get most answers here in the forums or send it off to a tech to look into.

You can still get tech support on second hand markers mate.

I'd recommend a second hand Etek and then get a Star frame for it. For a hopper Reloader B's are cheap second hand and still one of the best. For a bottle you just need to see which size is best for you and make sure its in date if buying second hand and mask is really personal preference
