[Overrated]

I have the opportunity to get a PM7 with a Pure Energy 4500PSI 1.1L air tank for £420 (All new), you guys got any comments as to whether i should go for it?

I would just second everyone else's comments here. I have just got back into the sport and was only really considering buying new, that's just my usual preference. However, having seen the quality and condition of most of the second-hand markers available here it really made me think again. For less than I would have bought a new PMR and basic upgrades, I am now the proud owner of a wonderful Ego 05. I won't be looking back.

i'd recommend the classifieds as well

Although if you were wanting NEW go for some of the lips packages

£420 for the pm7 and pure energy isn't a bad price, but its not the best either considering you could probably pick that up for £300 ish off of here.

I especially recommend the lips packages though .. probably the mini one, or if you phone up they'll knock a nice chunk off of kit as they can do specialised packages to get you up and running

yeh if you really are wanting new kit call lips or fatbobs, talk with them tell them what you need and what type of paintball you'll be wanting to play and they will help you with choosing the correct kit and for a great price.

Still considering the PM7 package mentioned, as it turns out its the last one left, its one of the Limited Edition colours, and the price includes overnight delivery.

If you are a student, then I can assume that you are not made of money.

If you buy NEW, you will regret it in a few weeks when you don't have any cash to play ball with.

As has been said, you can pick up an excellent marker, like an 05 Ego, that will be quite happy on a Sup Air field as well as in the woods, for £200.
That is an £800 marker when it was new, it's incredibly reliable and easy to tech if it needs it.

If you buy secondhand Goggs, just buy a new lens.

Otherwise, you are looking at £30 for a Pack, £60+ for goggs, £60 for pants, £30 for a jersey, then you need pots another £10-20, £100 for a loader, £150 for an air system, which leaves you sod all for a marker or money to play (about £160).

So you will look a right tool, with loads of nice playing gear all new and shiny, with a nice shiny air system screwed into a marker that really speaking, could have been a lot better, for your £4-600.

You can buy it all, possibly barely used or even unused off of here.

OK, if you have loads of money or are really that worried about using secondhand kit, carry on, it's your money after all.
