What do you all think to this pro team bird dogging!!!!

The tittle of this thread got me excited. It turned out to be a major let down.

But on topic, coaching will happen, whether it's allowed or not. Teams will use every means possible to get that little edge, whether it's sliding a certain way to wipe off a hit or having someone on the side lines following players. The only way I can really see it being stopped is if the spectator areas are pulled far enough back from the fields that it wouldn't make a difference. But then this would suck for the spectators. But then again think about old school Toulouse when they used to play in the football stadium. That was an amazing atmosphere and the fans were removed from the sidelines.

It's like Lang using the Fox Sports cameras to see where his opposing snake player was. Nicky T and the other commentator spotted it but it was put down to game smarts where there's not alot the organisers can do about it bar surrounding the fields / cameras in one way glass....which introduces a mirror effect
the same could be said about seeing your oponents shadow to see whether he is standing up or crouching and when hes about to snap out etc. You use whatever you can to try and get that bit of an advantage, and if the people your playing against dont have that chance then its just unlucky for them.

yeah using natural things like shadows i think is ok but when you start adding in you're own players to give you the information then you're crossing the line. Simple way to stop this is to disallow people standing on the sidelines during games. You have to be seated (and maybe remain seated until the game finishes. 7 minutes at a time is not a long wait if u need the toilet...

Or allow coaching to eliminate all posibilities of it happening
That way both teams get the perks of it without it being illegal

thats different coaching is allowed and they were behind the fence

pretty much all points based formats encourage audience/pitcrew participation, 7 man on the other hand

my opinion is that it'll happen, deal with. I actually couldn't give two tosses
