Are they or are they not??????

I thought that I would ask you guys as this is all people are talking about at the field i was play at today. Most the US kids love it and think its cool  Some people are saying its not bird dogging!

I don’t know what to think!! lol Or I just don’t want to say. ;-)

Bird Dogging = A player or a friend/coach walking down the side lines giving hand signals and positions away of the bad guys to his or her team mates.

If this is what it looks like it’s from one if not the most paid pro team in American Paintball. Is that why they feel like this is what they have to do to get a better chance of winning? I would think with a roster like they have they should not need to do this… If they are doing it that is!! ;-)

If it's going to happen in the low divisions, which it does, it's going to happen at the top end ,looks very coincidental that he follows the snake player bunker to bunker when he could just as easily see the play from the middle.

But bird dogging means something waaaay different to me.

And screw being in the sidelines .

Just another way of winning tbh. Paintballs full of bullcrap we don't want to admit but we all know its there.

unfortunately ur right mate. Until the refs start using their brains teams are going to exploit all the opportunities they can. When was the last time you saw a 3 - 2 - 1 "Guns on the Floor" call to check for breakout modes etc. Teams know what they can get away with and will exploit that. There should be a no standing in front the netting rule but even then players could just look at where the spectators are looking to see where the front snake player is. It's like Lang using the Fox Sports cameras to see where his opposing snake player was. Nicky T and the other commentator spotted it but it was put down to game smarts where there's not alot the organisers can do about it bar surrounding the fields / cameras in one way glass....which introduces a mirror effect

id say that its an arguemnt you can never win.

if you dont allow coachin then thats what you get. you allow it you take away part of the game

change and adapt. if they havn't got the skill to win without it then we all know who the better team is
