Lately there has been some issues regards to chronoing markers and testing them to the new 12 BPS rules at tournaments(Mills, PA, Masters).
As most players know now, chrono refs have been using chronographs with pact timers to measure the bps to make sure markers are within the tournaments legal limits.
If the stock boards (or even after market boards) are correctly set (most markers set to 11.8 bps, ie egos, ) the ROF of these markers should not shoot or exceed more than 12.0 bps if there was zero bounce wether mechanical, or electronic.
Now what if there was a slight mechanical or electronic bounce when shooting . Would the marker, with the ROf set to the 12 bps limit stay at that limit, the electronics of the board take into account those excess shots(bounce), or would the markers board not recognise those extra bounce , and shoot at a higher ROF.(reason im asking this is seeing so many posts and comments of markers hitting well above 15 bps at tournaments when there markers are set to just under 12 bps).
Ive always had the feeling, if a marker is set to the desired ROF, it will not exceed that even when bouncing around like a happy bunny.
