SLG what next

Ok im prety new to paintball been to a few games woodsball mostly and i own a PROTO SLG witch i have upgraded over the last couple months new barrel dye locking feedneck UL trigger on/off asa.

Its a realy nice gun shoots well but i have caught a bit of a gun bug and find myself looking at a new marker every five minuits so ive come here to ask a few questions if thats ok.

Ive never fired anything else apart from my SLG and of course rentals.
What would i expect to find if i upgraded to a more exspensive marker would the difference be that much of a leap like from a rental tippman to my SLG.

I have read that the PMR is to be considerd an upgrade to SLG but would that be a step up or a step sideways.

I was looking at spending £450 max witch puts my budget in the area of a PM8 or shocker and from one website a ANGEL A1 well its £480 but not a great difference.

I used to own a Tippman A5, then a Dye gun, now onto an Ego..

Egos and Eteks are good as are Dye guns...the more you spend the more you get for your cash ie more reliable too..

Very tempting because of the BOOBIES but i wont be upgrading till i get paid next month nice marker though

Wouldn't bother with a shocker if I were you mate. As you're used to the workings of a Dye/Proto marker, perhaps look at upgrading to a PM7 (go for around £150 now - steal!) or a DM7 (probably around £300) depending on your budget.

I dont get paid till end of may mate sorry thats a long time to hold it.

So should i be sticking to what i know i carnt fault my SLG ive shot a case through it the first time i had it never broke a ball it was a little inaccurate at first but got better i guess becuase it was new.

Would accuracy improve with a better marker or is that all down to the barrel ?
