it would be knock for knock if you didn't have right of way, but as it was your right of way she is at fault. So all you have to say is she drove into your path and even though you braked to avoid her she still hit your car.

Good result in my eyes.

Now what you say to her is, "I've looked into the accident and i will need your insurance details."

If she fails to give you the details, tell her you will contacting the police as she must give her insurance details, and you will be leaving it in their hands.

Cardboard box alongside M53
she pulled in and we where both rolling forward slightly.

tbh, i think it is knock for knock and i dont think any insurance company will entertain the issue, the cosmetic damage is so small, i have taken a pic.

i think she is over reacting.

edit: yeah i know i need to clean the car lol :p
In light of the damages just pop to halfords and get on of the touch up paint brushes for about 8 quid and the mark will be instantly gone.

I know because on thursday some goon from my work skimmed my bumper as he pulled out from the parking space beside me, took 20 minutes to fix ;)

Accident wise she is at fault as you had right of way, if she had used the correct precudure and given you the clearance you required all would be dandy

have to be honest here didnt even bothering reading the replys.....

fone your insurance and say she backed out... there is o whitenesses and and if push comes to shove make somik up and question what she said anyways, call it a partial fault and there will be a no claims either side, if a cheepy just pay.

What i would say... (dont understand or could picture your scenario... ) i was moving forward her reverse lights were on and i moved she backed out and i hit her, (if you feel bad tell them you were more then 5m away as its a decent distance and you both claim off you own for a joint fault).

Was she pretty and did she have a ring on her finger??? thats the better question :D if not you need a meeting as you were advised to 'talk and discuss the event' lol :D
