Velocity woes with ego 05

Hello, i recently got an 05 ego off here and have been having problems with the gun. i cant get the gun consitenly near 300 over the chrono and the first ball on many occations i cant blow further myself. even with the velocity screw all the way out im not hittting the high numbers. 25-260 tops.

searched the forums and have cleaned / lubed inline reg and lpr with vaselive, and cleaned and lubed the rammer with light gun oil. washers and seals visually look fine for the rammer and regs etc.

one tip i read while searching was to see if the QEV's are farting by forcing the bolt forward when the gun is gasses up and they making a noise is this good or bad?

really looking to see if i can sort the marker out myself before i consider shipping it to planet.

ok bare with me. have you taken the bolt pin out at all? thats out of the actual bolt not just the gun

what do you mean, as in lift the pin to the up position? then what?

try this. wind the reg in all the way so there is no air getting to the gun. then wind it out. some times they get over presured. keep dry firing though. the as you bring it back up. see how that goes. but also make sure lpr is flush

thanks for that will give that a go, if nothing changes what next?

well i think i may have discovered a slight leak coming from the back. too low to hear over my fans in my pc, but definitly louder when i remove the bolt, can this be the cause and if so is it servicable?

codiak . if i were you mate i'd send the ego into planet eclipse for a service and to repair your leak. might cost a bit but you'll have one uber working mowing machine come back to you

whats the damage usualy for planet to look at it?
im going to be in manchester soon working so can probs drop it in, will they P+P it back to me once its done?
