The way I see it...

As annoying as the banner is, this forum is free to use - None of us pay any money to PGi for the rights of reading and posting on the forum (Plat membership is different), so it shouldn't give us the right to complain about the means that PGi employ to earn money to cover costs of webhosting - Through the use of adverts etc.

There should be a warning about the possibility of the site containing flashing/strobing images.

It's nothing whatsoever against the forum or the advertisers but like you have said, it's the flashing. I keep getting flash backs from when I was in Kosovo lol

I'm not complaining about the methods that PGi use to earn money. As I have said it's not a debate and nothing against the advertisers or the forum at all and it's not a complaint but the flashing is very annoying and I wanted to know if it was just me or if anyone else found it annoying. As simple as that, literally i am just sharing other people's thoughts. I'm simply using freedom of speech

The flashing is only annoying because it attracts your attention and your don't want it to.
The more you make a point of it the more you actually notice it.
It cannot be that bad as only 25 posts here, the same in the plats section and not even half of those are complainants.

yeh it is quite annoying but for some reason when i look at it then look back on the forum it looks all green to me.
only last for 2-3 secs
does this happen to anyone else or is it just me
