OK so these are not new and i usually just delete them, but twice in 4 days I've received an e-mail allegedly from paypal informing me of suspicious activity on my account:
"DON'T PUT ANY DETAILS INTO THIS LINK"

It all looks very real and if you do log on you are met with a request to verify you are yourself by entering in your bank and credit card details again and hey presto you've been scammed.
I contacted Paypal through the normal and "secure" website and they gave me this response:
If i hadn't said anything he'd be done over by now, so I'm just spreading the word.....ps sorry about the red font but i wanted to separate my bits easier
Which then leads you to an official looking paypal login screen but if you look at the web address there is nothing to do with paypal on therePayPal

I know you lot are probably wise to all these scams but i spoke to a mate at work who had had the same e-mail but "hadn't got round to sorting it out yet"Dear Colin Post,
