I'd have to say lock-lids, they've always worked fine for me

got a suitcase full of Dye locklids fatboys and proto pods...

most of the team grab the proto, because their easy to get in and out of your pack than a locklid and lids easier to open than a fatboy

all down to personal choice though

Locklids FTW! They're great for packs that only hold the pods in by an elastic strap too as the bumps keep them in better.

id have to say locklids as well. havent had any trouble with them and they have lasted me ages.

I use proto's but a couple of the lids on mine are getting a bit weak and have popped open once or twice
