Playing on Sand

Just been watching the HB '03 DVD again, and does anyone have any objection to playing on sand?

I ask because this would be a cheaper option than buying turf.

Cmon guys, you can't be all up for this event then complain about sand ! its on a beach...theres sand !.

Defo keep us updated buddy, there should be a very good turnout for this !

Don't worry about sand getting in markers!

We would use blowers to get the sand out, just like at the first HB event.

Only down side i can see in no impressive superman dives/slides for the spectators.

yey, i was gonna say the same as ION-ROBBO but personaly i think it will be more fun playing on sand.

Yeah it's nice sand...full of little presents...like shiny glass....ancient beer cans and other random stuff.....it's like a lucky dip when you slide in to your bunker!!!

But im sure it will all be taken care of before hand
