Bottle Leaking!!

Never ever clamp the bottle with anything hard.

Ok thing back that was the daftest idea (DCOTW right there!!) So stick the reg in the vice and grip the bottle with what?

your hands, rubber gloves, nothing abrasive.

Ok might have to give it a go tomoz, i guessing it just likely that the reg has been locitied?

No leak is good news when you're looking at hpa, but i doubt it will cause a major problem. Remember to run hot water over the neck before trying to unscrew the reg, it softens the loctite.

I've seen someone put the holed end of a wrench over the fill nipple and used that to remove the reg.

Is that a good or bad idea?

you'd have to be careful, but it may be possible. Be a shame if it broke the nipple.

I have a threaded rod that i screw into one of the ports, this is a good lever. See above post
