Drop me an email at
olly.bell@btinternet.com mate and I'll give you any help I can, but basically cryotherapy (cold) works by 'distracting' the sore spot by replacing pain signals with cold signals whilst also helping to reduce inflammation and speed the healing process by increasing blood flow into the area. As for the sciatica, that is one of those terms that tends to be used to cover a range of problems; there are several different things that can cause pain by affecting the sciatic nerve so it's a case of sorting out what's doing that then fixing it. Biofreeze or similar can help with the pain but further treatment may be needed to fix the problem or at least give some relief.
As for cramps, I'm not kidding honest but try a bag of crisps or a bottle of water as lack of electrolytes when excercising can be a factor. Potassium can also help so it's bananas or broccoli (you choose
) and if you're very prone some vitamin D can help, especially in the winter when the lack of sunshine means your body produces less.
