To be honest I know around 20 paintballers who'd love to play during the week somewhere. A lot of guys who work in bars and clubs to 2 - 3 am Sat / Sun morning and find it a killer travelling to events. So I think if an event popped up like this i'd be more than interested to play it. Also like a lot of site owners I know there is nothing worse than leaving your site on a busy day, no matter how good your staff are !
So for me yeah why the hell not !
I also know a lot of guys who'd take a holiday / sickie / loo day etc to play an event like this ! Also as Chriz said not to cut new players out, it actually will open up the doors for other players who are restricted to play due to weekend work.

To answer your question mate no.. I think its a dumb idea. I for one am self employed, work my nads off to stay alive and cannot drop days... there is no 'holiday pay' for us. I think your idea was made on the assumption everyone gets 2 weeks full pay or are in a good situation to demand a day and get it just like that. It just isnt realistic in anyway. Why have a single day a year event during the week when theres a weekend where the majority of players are off?
