Xbox 360 or PS3?

Run and Fight another Day
I can think of a few things that the PS3 has over the 360. Internet browser, upgradeable hard drive, works with non-sony components, you can use it to print photos, wireless as standard, memory card slots, HD as standard (as opposed to the 360, not the Elite) free online community. The online community is a bit crap, but it's free, and there are big plans for it. I do agree that there is more selection for the 360, and the PS3 controllers are shocking, but I think there is too much potential for the PS3 for it to be written off.
I agree 100% but perhaps the reason the games for the PS3 are limited (apart from the old PS2 games) is that the combination of one the fastest processing speed and HD quality make the games hard to program. But give the PS3 time and it will prove its worth.

It has accounted for the change in technology making it adaptable to new game standards in the future and has been built to last for at least 5 or so years.

It is being viewed here as a games console and it is not just that, it is a multimedia system and soon the PSN Home network should be up giving its online community a boost.

By the way I support the PS3 & Linux hands down and will admit a bias against anything Microsoft make!

1 - the web browser is ****e
2 - the wireless is fairly weak, but fair enough its included
3 - memory card slots? so what? the 360 has them, plus you dont need them with a hard drive really
4 - HD as standard? you mean HDMI. All new 360s are HDMI. All 360s ever came with at least a component for 720p. The PS3 comes with a friggen scart fer christ sake...
5 - id rather pay £30 a year for decent online community then a broken crap one, with the promise of something better. the psm store is also crap.

the only good point there was upgradeable hard drive. tbh, youll need it with how badly the ps3 needs to INSTALL every game pretty much.

I disagree. The web browser isn't amazing, but if you wanna watch youtube vids in your living room with your friends, it's fine. Secondly, why do you reckon you don't need mem card slots if you have a hard drive? Are you thinking about the USB ports? And the online community aint broken, works fine for me. Better than Live in some instances... Not saying that all this makes the PS3 better than the Xbox, although they are nice additions you don't get with the Xbox.
