Gears of War is better on the Computer than it is on the 360!

PS3 is far more reliable, as the 360 keeps breaking. PS3 comes with everything already, you dont have to go out and buy add-on's. Hence the reasons its dearer. Microsoft have actually announced that they are going to stop making the HD DVD drive for the xbox as blueray has seem to be more superior!

I was with a mate who was thinking of getting a PS3,with his new TV set up he liked the idea of having a games machine more or less free when you compare it to a stand alone player.
At least he was thinking of getting one until the nice chap at Comet informed him he would need a blue ray lead and the 10.2 gb one that the system would need was £99.99.

A ton for 1.2 metres of fancy cable that in a couple of years will be £7.99 in Woolworths

it is not just that, it is a multimedia system
on this note my original xbox 1 with X3 chip and latest XBMC wins over both the 360 and PS3 as long as you don't need HD (which to be fair when watching films most people don't)

having said that, i just ordered a bog standard 360 to mod and i'm hoping something will be uncovered in the region of XBMC very soon ;)

blue ray cable?....all you need is a HDMI cable which is like £20...you don't even hve to have a HD tv to play the ps3 but if you have a HD tv the HDMI cable will do! the price is length dependant....a 50ft cable is like £150....but 50ft.. have a look on dabs.com......they do a lot

360 & PS3?

Neither of them compare to my old Sinclair ZX spectrum (with rubber keys & seperate tape player) and 'JETSET WILLY', also cant forget the origional 'rambo' game and commando.

Now thats old skool cool':D

Talk about gullible.
Just buy a £10 HDMI lead from any reputable electronics dealer such as www.ebuyer.com
