1. Bottom out the dwell
2. Set your input pressure to about 120 psi
3. Increase the dwell until the marker cycles properly at +/- 10 fps consistency
4. Increase your input pressure up to desired fps
5. Increase the dwell up by 1 until velocity stays consistent. If consistency is already good, reduce the dwell down by 1 until it becomes inconsistent, then bring back up 2.

if it was consistent before then became inconsistant i doubt it would be a dwell problem.

As spangley says Relube your reg first then clean your boltkit, what barrel are you using? some inconsistencies can be caused by paint to barrel matching

no it was inconsitant the first time i used it.
hmm you might be right about the barrel to paint match as a dm7 was doing the same aswell.
what is the match suposed to be between the paint and the barrel. like is the ball suposed to role through it or you have to blow it so i know if it is the barrel as i have to diffirent paints at home. that first time i used it i was useing rec paint and the other box is cyclone.

if its always been inconsistant then setting your dwell to your gun might be a good idea, clean your reg/bolt then when you get to your field/chrono check the fit between paint and barrel it should fit in and not move but should be easy to blow out, if its to tight its likely not to move far or may break in your barrel if its too loose and rolls through then air is escaping aside of the ball which will cause inconsistancy
