inconsistency on a ion

yeh thats it! the rec paint rolles straight through it but as for the cyclone paint it stays in place but when i give it a little blow it comes out. and iv cleand and lubed the bolt but not the reg as i dont have the correct tool to undo it.
so i think its is what you said with the paint and the barrel.
but i cant test it until i start training again

was the ion new or second hand.

if its new and hasnt been used much then the reg wont have been broken in fully.

it takes a few cases for the reg to break in and settle down. that could be causing the inconsitency

o yeh its brand new that time of the inconstancy, the first time i used i didnt crono it since there crono wasnt there. but the second time i did crono it and thats when i noticed the incositancy.

Also check the ball detents.

hmm but i doubt the detents would be damaged after a 2 or 3 uses.
